I recently did some animations for the stage show of viennese artist ‘Herr Tischbein’. My part was a textanimation for the song ‘Meine Welt’ and a handdrawn animation of flowers growing and getting picked for the song ‘Blumenlied’. On the left side you find a web version of the ‘Meine Welt’ video. Below some footage of the evening is to be found.

For the wedding of Jeanpey & Thomas I made them into simple comic characters. The pictures will be displayed at the invitation (walking towards one) and at the wedding dinner’s tables. This work is still in progress.

Amai moda is a custom tailor shop in the city of Graz. Having Osvaldo Cavandolis ‘La Linea’ in mind they asked for a simple 2D animation to vitalize the storefront. The main characters were designed as a tailor, a male and a female character. Two major storylines show the male and female character receiving their new clothes. The Storyline is repeatedly interrupted by graphic animations playing with depth. This is contrasting the overall flatness and increasing the immersion of passers by.

Lab Work ZagrebParticipants were introduced theoretically to live visuals and animation. They worked collectively and individually on short clips using various animation techniques. After a live vjing course we presented the groups work in a collective live performance. (video)

UAF workshopBasics of visual live composition as well as techniques of live imagery were thought. Different live vjing positions were presented and discussed. An insight in the NoFootage workflow was given. People got active and tried it out. (pics)
Live visuals // 2 Hours // held @ Urban Art Forms Festival

NoFootage is a video live performance. Low tech visuals are 100% live generated. They reach a high level of immersion through traceability. Inadequateness of material is understood as a creative chance. Every visual session is an experiment. Doomed to fail from its beginning and therefore alive.
Every day materials, drawings and movements are transformed into visuals during the phases “Footage production”, “Realtime Processing” and “Live Mixing”. Material captured and saved during a session is constantly channeled into the productionflow. The phases idea, prodution, mix and remix shift over the time of a session from serial to parallel. NoFootage colud be called a evolving remix process.

At Vienna Fashion Week 2010 Gebrüder Stich decided to do their „Fairy Tailors“ show. Based on the by the tale of cinderella, The unconventional fashion show turned out to be the highlight of the evening. The celanimated visuals were live synchronised to the almost theatrical performance.
